The American Beagler Magazine is a monthly
publication devoted to The Rabbit Hunter and Beagle Field
Trialer. Beverley Cross started the publication in 2001.
In March, 2006 the Ridenhours (Mike, Janie,
Jason, Tess, Alex, Garrett, Seth, Carrie and Jat), purchased
The American Beagler. We are a family based business located
in the small town of Belle, Missouri. We live on a farm
that has been in the family for five generations. We have
a cow/calf operation and pig nursery buildings.
Mike has instilled a love for hunting
and the outdoors in the family. His favorite type of hunting
has always been with the use of hounds. He has had world
champion coonhounds and some wonderful fox, beagle and
coyote hounds. Mike loves the competition hunts as much
as a Saturday morning hunt with friends and family.
The American Beagler provides approximately
64 information packed pages each month. You will find The

on raising, training, and kenneling Beagles, as well as
the most comprehensive coverage of the major field trialing
